I am a 27 year old Game Design student in the Netherlands, but was born in Germany. Curious and thoughtful, I enjoy discovering and discussing new games and learning new things.
Games were always something that is dear to me. As a kid, I came up with own boardgames together with my brother. We repurposed material from various games to build new ones or to add extra rules to existing ones. The passion for games is sticking with me for a long time, which lead me to where I am now.
My current game favourites are "Arkham Horror -  The Card Game", a cooperative deckbuilding game and "V Rising", a  game somewhere between PVP, survival and RPG. I started out by playing mostly strategy games, like "Anno 1602" or "Civilization", but always continue to branch out further on the lookout for exciting and unique experiences.

Creating games with people for people -
with that little extra that makes them more than just games.

I design games with a passion, striving to create a fun experience both while playing and making them. I try to add the little extra to my games, that goes beyond entertainment, the nudge that lets you learn something new about the world or questions your understanding of it.
To create these experiences, I value listening above everything else. It permeates every aspect of development. Listening to your players, your team members, yourself and the environment surrounding you or others - just to name a few - so that in the end, the best decision can be made.
Game development is rarely done alone. I highly value working in and actively creating a positive team environment where everyone feels comfortable. In the end, I know from my own experience, that the best work is done in great team environments.
